How to Acquire Benefit

Travelers have media credentials — use a travel agency to book their travel.
Two step Process for eligibility of media bag rate:

  1. Travel agency must insert OSI (including number of bags) into traveler’s PNR prior to arrival at the airport
  2. Traveler must present media credentials to AA airport personnel upon check in

Travelers do not have media credentials — use a travel agency to book their travel.
Three step Process for eligibility of media bag rate:

  1. Determine if the traveler is associated with a media company, production, music band, etc. and therefore eligible for media bag pricing
  2. Travel agency must insert OSI (including number of bags) into traveler’s PNR prior to arrival at the airport
  3. E-mail us at entertainment.service@aa.com and an AA Entertainment Specialist will move star: N*MEDIA BAG WDIV into the record

Travelers who do not currently use a travel agency, but rather book their travel on www.aa.com, will need to send their record locator to entertainment.service@aa.com so that we may document their record at least one day prior to their day of travel. The airport staff will not be able to provide this authorization.
